This is the sixth painting in my series for The Twelve Days of Christmas.  Now geese apparently only actually lay eggs in the spring, but hey, we've had snow in late March and early April before now!  The symbolism here is for fertility and new life, or if you're a Christian, the six days in which God created the world.
