A servant woman is walking home in the 1880s, after a hard day's work at the country manor up the road.  She is warmly dressed against the winter cold, and her basket contains supper for herself and her husband from the manor kitchen.  Her feet make a slight crunching sound as she steps out on an inch of new snow.  Her breath clouds in the evening air, but a pale moon has risen to guide her.
